Bertelsmann Foundation

Together with project partners and on behalf of the Bertelsmann Foundation, Averbis developed an independent, user-friendly Internet portal on the quality of medical care in the health sector. It has been accessible under the internet address www.weisse-liste.de since early 2008. The search for care providers is bound both to the ICD10 as well as the OPS catalogue, whereby lay-lingual translations of these catalogues guarantee the comprehensibility of portal contents for patients. Averbis implemented a qualitatively high-class, uniform and lay-friendly translation of the ICD/OPS catalogue.  Further, the company provided the complete search technology of the portal and advises the Bertelsmann Foundation on all issues in the area of "Medical Language".
